!Note: from Phyllis Grissom Regarding: Ann Goimel d. 26 Dec 1967, Byron Ogle County Illinois, m. 1830, Canada Reply: Headstone in St James/St Mary's cemetery Rockford. It is found in the Kennedy plot. I have questioned this. I suggested that th
e surname does not appear Irish. Since I made this objection, the thought has occured to me that John Kennedy b1810 may have found a bride in Canada. I searched the Irish records on line for that surname . It did not show anywhere I looked. I hav
e not searched for that surname in Quebec think it would be a good idea.
!Notes: Previous info had her name only as Mary.
!Source: Kimi Larson's John Kennedy family tree on Phyllis Grissom's MyFamily.com website, and letter to Phyllis Grissom. - 26 Dec 1867 Headstone found at St James / St Mary's on Auburn Street, Rockford Illinois. - This is in the area of other Ken
nedy members, good possibility that this is our Ann. - No way to verify this though. We have been to the Catholic diocese office and there is no records dating back to this time.
