Charlotte's gravestone is inscribed Charlotte Graham, which was her married name. This is likely to have been because they were reluctant to use her maiden name - Wilson was her stepfather's name, and Champvraie her father's, but in the period af ter the Napoleonic wars having a French father would have been something to keep quiet about.
