!Notes: John Hotchkis, of Dodington, in the county of Salop, styled "gentleman" in Admittance of 1666, and in Surrenders of 1679, also in Surrenders of 1677 and 1681. Had a legacy of a two and twenty shilling peace of gold under the will of his s ister Elizabeth Hotchkis and a legacy of £20 under the Will of his Father in Law. Described in the Surrender of 11th August, 1681, as "John Hotchkis, Gent. lately deceased."
