!P: Helen A. Anderson, 82, Osage City, died Monday, Aug. 10, 1987, at an Osage City nursing home.
!P: Miss Anderson taught at Osage City Elementary School 45 years before she retired. Earlier she taught at rural schools near Osage City.
!P: She was born March 17, 1905, at Osage City, the daughter of Evan and Augusta Carlson Anderson. She was graduated from Emporia State Teachers College and spent most of her life in the Osage City community.
!P: Miss Anderson was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma teachers sorority. She was a member of the Marshall Club, Ruth Chapter No. 52 of the Order of Eastern Star and Grace Lutheran Church, all at Osage City.
!P: Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Settle, Seattle, Wash., and Ann Anderson, Osage City; and two brothers, Harold Anderson and Arthur Anderson, both of Osage City
!P: Services were at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Grace Lutheran Church in Osage City. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Osage City. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church at Osage City. Grable Funeral Chapel at Osage City i s in charge of arrangements. --
