!P: Mr. Howard A. Shurtz 86 Burlingame died Sunday August 5, 1979 at an Alma Kansas Nursing Home. He was born April 24, 1893, at Burlingame, Ks. and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired farmer.
!P: Survivors include a Sister, Viola Curley of Bakersfield, California, and several nieces and nephews.
!P: Graveside services were Tuesday, August 7, 1979. (No descendants).
