!P: Mr. and Mrs. David Easton received a clipping recently from Scotland telling of the presentation of USAF honor guard being presented at the Remembrance day program. The clipping was taken from The Stars & Stripes dated Nov. 23 giving the name s of members of an honor guard including the name of S-Sgt. H. Marken, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Easton. It read:
!P: "Amid the lilt of bagpipes and against the background of brilliantly uniformed Scottish forces, the Prestwick air bas honor guard made its public bedut in the Paisley ice arena.
!P:"Sponsoring the Remembrance day program was the British Legion, Scotland.
!P: "As the units were introduced and marched to their respective positions, the spectators greeted them with a rousing ovation. The last to enter was the U.S. air force contingent from Prestwick, under the supervision of T-Sgt. J.J. Springard.
!P: "M. M. Willkie, program chairman, addressed the audience and gave special praise to USAF, stating, "We are proud and privileged to have these representatives of our allies and partner in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the United State s Airforce, with us tonight.'
!P: "During the program, members of the 67th Air Reserve Sq. USAF, demonstrated a simulated paramedic rescue operation." --
