!P: Services for Irving E. Meggison, 85, 630 California, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary with burial in Topeka Cemetery. He died Saturday night at his home following a long illness.
!P: He was born June 29, 1879 at Dorrance, Kan. He moved to Burlingame at an early age, and had been a Topeka resident the past 45 years.
!P: Mr. Meggison had been employed by the Gas Service Company and the Street Department in Topeka.
!P: Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Meggison, of the home; seven sons, Melverne, San Deigo, Calif., Harold Hoyt, Leo, 532 Rice Road, Clarence, 1520 E. 10th, Raymond, 3703 Croco, Virgil, residing in a Topeka nursing home, and Dean, 2500 Bucha nan; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Strauss, of the home, Mrs. Dorothy Oliver, 2527 Illinois, and Mrs. Mildred Packard, 904 Armagh; 32 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
