!Notes: He married his wife in Germany while he was stationed there in the Air Force. Retired in 1973 after 18 years in the Air Force, and his wife returned with him to the US. He brought his family to Davenport, Iowa, where he bought a restaur ant. He and his wife were divorced sometime after 1979. She received the restaurant and he raised the three children. However, he got "blood pressure in his leg" and it had to be amputated. Robert died 16 Nov 1981, leaving three children age s 2 to 6 years.
