!P: Mr. Davis was an Army veteran of World War II.
!P: He was born May 1, 1920, in Burlingame, the son of Fred and Mary Ellen Apps Davis. He spent most of his life in Burlingame.
!P: Mr. Davis was a member of the Federated Church, Gene and Elroy Schenck Post No. 7584 of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the volunteer fire department, all in Burlingame. He was active in volunteer work with the Boy Scouts.
!P: He was married to Beth L. Hotchkiss Jan. 19, 1946, in Burlingame. She died Mar. 23, 1987.
!P: Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Hyatt, Bentonville, Ark.; two sons, Bruce Davis, Lawrence; two grandchildrenl and two stepgrandchildren.
!P: Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Federated Church in Burlingame. Burial was in Burlingame Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Federated Church in Burlingame or Burlingame Cubs of Boy Scouts of America and sent in care o f Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame.
