!Notes: Johan Anders Larsson left home in 1866 and moved to Norra Vanga, where he apparently didn't stay long as moved to Kranum Parish in 1866 to work as a farmhand at Torsagarden. In 1867 he moved to Tornbergsgarden and in 1869 to Smedjegarden . He married on 16 Nov 1869 to Lotta Johansdotter. In 1895 they still lived at Smedjegarden. He was the owner of 1/8 part of Smedjegarden (Source: AI:13 page 5). Came to Kansas in 1906.

!P: Johan Anders Larson was born in Jung, Vastergotland, Sweden Oct. 14, 1844, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Aug. Lindberg, four miles southeast of Osage City, July 9, 1918 at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 25 days. He came to Os age City from Sweden, Aug. 1, 1906 and has since made his home with his daughter. He leaves to mourn his loss seven children, Frank L. Johnson of Blandinsville, Ill., Mrs. A. E. Lindburg, Carl and Richard Johnson all of Osage City, Mrs. J.S. Thy r and Mrs. W. McCloskey of Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. G. A. Anderson of Slater, Mo., also nineteen grandchildren and three sisters. The funeral was held Friday, July 12 from the Swedish Lutheran Church with Rev. Sandstedt of Kansas City, Mo. offic iating. Interment was made in the Swedish Cemetery. --
